Whitney Ward, LPCC-S is an Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation (LPCC-S) and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hampton University and her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Kent State University. Whitney has over 15 years of clinical experience working in acute residential treatment facilities, including interning at an adolescent inpatient substance abuse treatment facility.
Additionally, she has experience working as a multi-systemic family therapist in the community with juvenile offenders. Her specialties include working with children (ages 12 and up), teens and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship, identity and adjustment issues, parenting, stress management, diversity, family issues and behavioral/ oppositional disorders. Whitney sees clients virtually in the evenings at The Counseling and Wellness Group.
