Meet Madison

Madison will not be accepting clients until late June 2025.

Madison is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Virginia University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, minoring in Health Promotions and Human Behavior & Social Services from Michigan State University.

As she spent much of her counseling career working college students, Madison’s primary focus is working with adolescents, adults, and athletes. She is particularly passionate about the unique challenges faced by student athletes – namely helping them navigate the pressures of academic life, athletic performance, and personal wellness. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, eating disorders, life transitions, identity development, stress management, and relationship issues. Madison is trained in suicide alertness and LGBTQ+ awareness as well.

Her trauma-informed, integrative approach blends from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), enhanced CBT, solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based techniques. She incorporates mindfulness, expressive arts, and somatic awareness, and psychoeducation to foster a strong mind-body connection.

Madison believes in the transformative power of authentic connection, holistic wellness, and evidence-based interventions. She approaches counseling as a collaborative journey rooted in individual’s self-awareness, encouragement, and personal insight, honoring each client’s unique experiences, challenges, and strengths. Ultimately, Madison dedicates herself to helping others develop a strong sense of self-efficacy and resilience, by empowering them to take an active role in their own treatment.

Outside the office, Madison enjoys exercising, reading, coffee, and country music. She’s also a big Cleveland and college sports fan and dog enthusiast.
