Meet Erin

Erin is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s of Social Work from Case Western Reserve University’s Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire. Erin has experience working with children and adolescents (starting at age 10), adults, and survivors of traumatic brain injury. She is certified in Trauma-Informed Practice through Case Western’s Center on Trauma and Adversity and has specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy for OCD and anxiety disorders.

Erin’s clinical style is predicated on the belief that OCD and anxiety often take a small possibility and magnify it into a seemingly certain reality. Safety behaviors, like seeking reassurance, can become so ingrained that they’re not always recognized as compulsions. Yet, these behaviors only provide temporary relief, and OCD will never be satisfied by any specific answer. The good news is that you have the power to challenge your OCD and anxiety through treatment.

Erin is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, an evidence-based treatment for OCD, phobias, and anxiety. As a trauma-informed therapist, she prioritizes creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts without fear of stigma or shame.

Erin is known for her reliability, authenticity, and lighthearted sense of humor. She is dedicated to providing a safe space where you can be your true self, feel heard, and find acceptance.

Outside of clinical work, Erin loves spending time in nature, hiking, and traveling to national parks. She’s also a passionate Swifty and a dedicated Bravo fan, often relaxing by listening to Taylor Swift’s Speak Now or watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
