Future clients can call 330.331.2188 ext 709 to begin the intake process. Please leave a message and an intake specialist will call you back within 2 business days. If you prefer email, please email info@cawgrp.com or use the “Contact Us” link on the website. A clinician will return your email within 2 business days or sooner. Please be ready to provide the following information: General sense of what brings you to therapy at this time, the insurance you plan to use, preference for days/time of therapy, and preference for virtual, in person or hybrid appointments.
Future clients are paired with CWG clinicians based upon areas of clinical expertise and participation with the client’s insurance network. If a clinician is not in-network, CWG will alert the client at time of intake and orient them to fee for service rates. Once a client is scheduled with a therapist they will receive intake paperwork via email. This paperwork must be completed 24 hours prior to their appointment. Failure to complete paperwork can result in the appointment being rescheduled. Clients will also receive a confirmation text with date, time and name of their therapist as well as the virtual or in person format.
The first appointment is called the diagnostic assessment and is an opportunity for the therapist to collect clinically relevant information and begin to develop therapeutic rapport with the client. This appointment is generally 60 minutes in duration and will be billed to the client’s insurance on record unless other fee for service arrangements have been made. Clients will discuss what brings them to therapy, begin to outline the treatment plan or road map for future therapy sessions as well as establish the frequency of sessions. The DA can be virtual or in person.
This is where the real fun begins! The client and therapist will meet according to the predetermined frequency. Clients will schedule all follow-up appointments with their therapist and can reach their therapist via email if there are questions between sessions or a scheduling conflict. Please note, CWG upholds a 24-hour cancellation policy. Individual therapy sessions typically run 55-60 minutes in duration and follow the course of the treatment plan. Various therapeutic modalities can be infused into sessions to promote client growth and symptom reduction. Overtime, it is common for session frequency to taper down to eventual termination, or collaborative conclusion of this therapeutic chapter. Past clients have the option of emailing their therapist to re-engage in therapy should the need arise.
