Madison is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from West Virginia University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, minoring in Health Promotions and Human Behavior & Social Sciences from Michigan State University.
She specializes in working with adolescents, adults, and athletes. She is passionate about helping athletes navigate the mental demands of sport, including performance pressure, perfectionism, injuries, identity, body image, and the transition beyond athletics. She also has a special interest in trauma and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), helping clients process unresolved experiences that continue to impact their confidence, relationships, emotional well-being, and performance.
Her trauma-informed approach integrates EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), enhanced CBT (CBT-E), Internal Family Systems (IFS), solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based interventions. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, athletic performance, life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship concerns. Madison is also trained in suicide alertness and LGBTQ+ awareness.
Madison believes healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship and a collaborative approach to care. She is committed to helping clients build resilience, reconnect with their strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Outside the office, Madison enjoys exercising, reading, coffee, and country music. She’s also a big fan of Cleveland and college sports, and is a dog enthusiast.
