The Counseling and Wellness Group offers therapy for individuals struggling with trauma, perinatal mental health, addiction, eating disorders, anxiety, depression and life transitions. CWG Clients have the opportunity to work 1:1 with a therapist to achieve collaborative goals designed to reduce distress. Sessions typically are 55 minutes in duration and frequency is determined between therapist and client.
The first step in your therapy journey starts with a Diagnostic Assessment. This is a 1-hour appointment that allows the therapist and client to begin the process of developing rapport as well as to collect information about the client’s past, what brings them to therapy, family dynamics, and mental health history. Client and therapist will determine the frequency of sessions and the overall treatment plan, or road map for therapy, based upon clinical information shared during this session.
